Mom’s exhausted, I’m exhausted, each for different reasons. This will be brief,
Mom now has a regular Tuesday appointment to have blood drawn, because of the problems with her white blood cell counts. And she’s scheduled for regular additional Neulasta and Procrit. But at least they know. I guess they don’t check these things unless something unusual happens.
I’m probably going to do something very unusual and go to sleep. Since I didn’t get to sleep last night until after 0630, I need it.

$#@%$!
They check my blood counts before EVERY chemo. They check my blood pressure too.

They check her blood counts just before chemo, too. This check was one week after the first day of chemo. I think the assumption is that the Neulasta works, and nobody checks anything until the next round of chemo, three weeks later.
Neulasta doesn’t seem to be working for her. Time will tell, I guess.

Ah okay. After the blood pressure thing I was ready to assume the worst.
I hope the Neulasta kicks in.
